Late in the evening of Wednesday, May 31, in Kiev there was a serious accident on the Paton Bridge. This caused a major traffic jam shortly before curfew.

This is reported by local Telegram channels.

"A serious accident occurred on the Paton Bridge. Lots of ambulances, police. Preliminary, even fatal. The information is being clarified", – stated in the message.

The video shows that the car that drove into the fence on the bridge was without a wheel and suffered severe damage. Medics and police are working at the scene of the incident. Details of the incident from law enforcement officers are not yet available.

Earlier we reported that in the Obukhov district in the Kyiv region, an overturned car was found in a pond. At the scene of the accident, police found the body of the driver and dog.
