The leader of PMC "Wagner" Yevgeny Prigozhin went on a tour of Russia, where he made a number of loud statements, similar to election campaigning.
It is reported by Meduza.
According to the publication, in two days at the end of May, he gave three press conferences — in Yekaterinburg, Vladivostok and Novosibirsk, and another is expected in Nizhny Novgorod.
Mobilization
Prigozhin tells the Russians that the war with Ukraine will be long, so a general mobilization must be urgently announced. The leader of "Wagner" believes that it is necessary to mobilize 2 million Russians, and deserters – to shoot.
"Then there will be a difficult war. I don't know how long it will last. If I do it right, then my forecast is to 'liberate' Donbas in two years, to reach Kyiv in three or four," the leader of the Wagnerites reflects.
Death penalty
He also calls for the return of the death penalty to Russia: "It is necessary to make all heads of defense enterprises military personnel so that they can also be subjected to the death penalty. We need to make the country a military monster so that there are more weapons than North Korea."
At the same time, Prigozhin assures that his activity is not the beginning of a political career: he promises not to create his own party or run for president.
Earlier, analysts at the American Institute for the Study of War wrote that Prigozhin undermines Putin's authority. In response, Putin began to destroy Prigozhin in the media.
