On May 31, 2023, the next round of political consultations was held in Baku between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Pakistan.

According to the EPA, the delegation was headed by Elnur Mohammedov, deputy foreign minister of Azerbaijan, and Sadie Majid Khan, the first deputy foreign minister of Pakistan.

Political consultations have focused on cooperation in economics, commerce, agriculture, education, culture, energy, tourism and other fields. The importance of mutual trips, especially parliamentary diplomacy, has had a positive impact on many aspects of bilateral relations.

The 2022 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses featured a milestone in diplomatic relations between our countries and expressed satisfaction with the high level of Azerbaijan-Pakistan relations based on friendship and brotherhood. Also highlighted is Pakistan's decisive and unequivocal position during the 30-day Civil War, its hesitant support and solidarity for our right cause.

Deputy Minister Elnur Mohammedov detailed the situation in the region during the post-conflict period, the process of cleaning mines in occupied territories, reconstruction and installation, as well as the country's leadership's major return program, smart cities and green energy projects.

The meeting included an exchange of views between the parties, as well as on multilateral cooperation, regional issues and other topics of interest.
