New Delhi:

Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has not yet been found by the police on the basis of which he can be arrested. This information has been given by top placed sources of Delhi Police.

According to sources, the Delhi Police can file its report in this case within the next 15 days. According to the rules, if any evidence is found against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, a charge sheet will be filed, otherwise the police will file its final report in the court. It has been reported that the police file the final report, i.e. FR, only when it does not find any evidence in a case.

Delhi Police sources said that statements of many people have been recorded in this case, and statements of many witnesses have also been recorded. According to police sources, the police have also received several documents, whose investigation is still going on.

According to a Supreme Court ruling, in a case where such sections have been imposed, in which the maximum punishment can be up to seven years, there is no need for the arrest of the accused. According to Delhi Police sources, everyone's allegations in this case are old, so the police have the right to register a case after investigation, that is why the case was registered later.
