The draft law of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the implementation of the 2022 State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan was discussed at a plenary session of the National Assembly today.

According to the EPA, government budget revenues for 2022 were 30679.6 million manat, 5.1 percent more against the approved forecast, expenses were 32064.6 million manat, 0.7 percent less against the approved forecast, and 1385.0 percent less than the approved forecast.

During 2022, the total budget was 36760.9 million manat, or 6336.7 percent more than 17.2 million manat, or 43097.6 million manat.

The budget deficit was 35640.9 million manat, or 35073.6 percent less than the forecast.

Bank Accounts: Bank accounts, certificates of deposit, or insurance accounts set up as a liability for life insurance policy.

Funds allocated to finance government budget obligations to balance 19.8 percent or 1132.0 million manat of the Fund's revenues (2021.175 million manat or 4.13 million manat) compared with 4 (less than 80.2 percent), or 4597.7 million manat (2021.727 million manat or 1.18 percent more than in 8).

The National Social Security Fund's budget was 5606.3 million manat (less than 5252.1 million manat) or 354.2 percent, 93.7 million manat, or 2021.409 percent more than in 1.

The unemployment insurance fund's income was 181.4 million manat, or 172.8 percent, against a confirmed 95.3 million manat forecast.

The Fund's income was 11.4 percent or 19.7 million dollars (U.S.) in insurance, 88.6 percent, or 153.1 million dollars (U.S.).

The unemployment insurance fund's expenses were 181.4 million manat, or 163.4 percent, against a confirmed forecast of 90.1 million manat.

The azerbaijani National Petroleum Fund's budget was 15789.1 million manat, or 16866.5 percent more than the 6.8 million manat forecast.

The budget of the Azerbaijani National Petroleum Fund was 7960.4 million manat, or 3602.7 million manat, or 31.2 percent less than the approved forecast.

Transfer 7923.0 million manat or 99.5 percent of the Fund's expenses to the state budget (less than 3594.5 million manat), 22.2 million manat, or 0.3 percent (less than 5.6 million manat) of the "Public Program for the Advancement of International Competition of the Higher Education System in Azerbaijan for 2019-2023," 15.2 million manat, or 0.2 percent (less than 2.6 million manat) the State Program for Education from 2022 to 2026.

In 2021, an increase in tax and customs authorities' access to the state budget allowed the National Petroleum Fund to use 3594.5 million manat, or 31.2 percent less than the government's budget.
