Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has indicated he is not a candidate for NATO Secretary-General.

The EPA reports to the agency "Reuters" that Fredericksen himself has reported the matter.

Fredericksen's name is not on the list of candidates for NATO Secretary-General, according to the publication.

"I am not a candidate for this position," the Danish head of government said in a statement.

It should be noted that in recent days, politico has written that Fredericksen's nomination for nato's new secretary-general has been reviewed.

Recall that Alyssa's current Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg, expires at the end of September this year and may remain in office for another few months - until allied countries reach an agreement on a new assignment.
