Today, 78% of Ukrainian refugees are employed in Poland.

This is evidenced by the data of the sociological survey "Citizens of Ukraine in the Polish labor market. New Challenges and Prospects", presented at Media Center Ukraine.

It is noted that among war refugees, the share of employed is lower than among migrants: 71% against 83%. High expectations of employers (37%) and limited mobility (28%) are the biggest problems faced by Ukrainians in Poland when looking for a job.

"According to their qualifications, every third Ukrainian – 35% – performs the work. At the same time, half of war refugees said that the work they do does not meet their qualifications. In addition, every fourth citizen of Ukraine living in Poland over the past year was looking for work outside the republic – most interested in employment in Germany (64%) and the Czech Republic (23%)," the report says.

The authors of the study emphasize that almost all Ukrainians in Poland – 83% – said they supported their homeland.

"Most often, these are donations to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and sending money to relatives. Among the 56% of respondents who send money to Ukraine, half send between 301 and 1,000 zlotys per month (66-221 euros)," the report says

As a reminder, in Prague (Czech Republic) from June 30, 2023, travel privileges for Ukrainian refugees are canceled.
