The Agency for Innovation and Digital Development has employed an international-level expert: Lucas Tzitzis has been appointed to a leadership position in international business development.

Lucas Tzitzis, who has extensive experience in information, telecommunications and medical technology, has served in key positions at international companies and has been awarded a number of international awards, AAPA-Economics reports to the agency. Its management experience covers business operations in Britain, Israel, Austria, Romania, Estonia, Australia, Singapore, New Zealand, as well as business operations in Central and Eastern Europe, Eurasia, ICT products suppliers and system integrators.

As head of international business development at the Agency for Innovation and Digital Development, L.Tzitzis' most important tasks include promoting relocation and technology projects in Azerbaijan, as well as strengthening and modernizing the strategy for attracting foreign companies to the local ICT ecosystem.

Inara Veliyeva, chairman of the IRRA, commented on the new assignment:

"I believe Lucas will add value to our team with its rich experience in ICT, strategic knowledge and skills in the regional as well as global environment and increase awareness in the global market about the business opportunities and concessions provided by Azerbaijan"

Lucas Tzitzis commented on his appointment:
