In a police operation in the Sliven region, there are detainees for arson, drugs, theft and vandalism, the press center of the Regional Directorate (OD) of the Ministry of Interior confirmed to BTA.

Teams of the Regional Directorate of the Ministry of Interior and the regional government in Sliven, Nova Zagora, Kotel and Tvarditsa, together with employees of the gendarmerie and the Regional Forest Directorate - Sliven, carried out on May 30 numerous inspections for crimes against property and personality, drug distribution, illegal logging, holding and distribution of excise goods without excise label, as well as protection of public order in vulnerable areas, sections, neighborhoods and neighborhoods in the area.

A 38-year-old man from Tvarditsa was detained for arson of a private property in the town inhabited by himself. He was escorted to the Multiprofile Hospital for Active Treatment "Dr. Ivan Seliminski" - Sliven and was placed for treatment in a psychiatric ward. A 63-year-old woman from the Nova Zagora neighborhood of Sixth was caught with 37 doses of heroin. Minors have been found to have caused material damage to an Opel car in the village of Gradets near Kotel. A lecture was conducted with them by employees of the Children's Pedagogical Room. During inspections in warehouses for storage and sale of firewood, violations were found, for which five acts under the Forest Act were drawn up. Forensic experts from the Nadezhda section of the Regional University of Sliven have detained perpetrators of a series of home thefts.

Control and monitoring of persons from the criminal contingent has been carried out. Police operations are continuing.
