A native of Zaporizhzhia region, who lived in the Kyiv region, under the guise of providing employment services abroad, deceived 67 people and seized more than 880,000 hryvnias, he was detained. The swindler faces up to eight years in prison.

The organizer of the scheme registered legal entities as nominees, then created his own websites and coordinated the "work" of other participants in the fraudulent scheme.

"The offender found a limited liability company to cover up his illegal activities, one of the types of economic activity of which simulated the provision of services for work abroad. Then he picked up account managers. Customers found ads on https://workhub2018.com.ua/ and https://e-work.com.ua/ websites and paid a subscription in the amount of 8 to 18 thousand hryvnias per person. "Employees" of the company assured clients about the obligatory fulfillment of employment conditions by the company, sent an agreement of non-existent transactions to agree on the conditions for familiarization and signing. The total amount that was transferred to the man for several of his companies is more than 880 thousand hryvnias. Currently, the investigation has collected evidence of crimes against 67 victims. However, according to operational data, the number of deceived citizens can reach hundreds of people, and the amount of damage caused - several million hryvnias," the police said.

The police conducted a number of searches – more than 40 thousand US dollars and 350 thousand hryvnias in cash, two luxury cars, jewelry with diamonds, mobile phones, laptops obtained by criminal means and bank cards and draft records confirming the illegal activities of this group of persons were seized.

The police appeal to all citizens who have become victims of a fraudulent scheme and used the services published on the websites of https://workhub2018.com.ua/ and https://e-work.com.ua/, to report such facts to the nearest police station or by calling 102.
