In Velyka Dymerka alone, at least 160 families were left homeless. A significant part of them took the opportunity to settle in a dormitory, equipped by the decision of the village council. According to the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, a powerful generator was transferred to Velykodymerska ATC for the needs of the dormitory in case of power outages, and each resident of this shelter received a sleeping set.

This humanitarian assistance was carried out within the framework of a grant allocated by the Coca-Cola Foundation for the purchase of 54 generators and 5000,<> sleeping sets for the needs of communities, centers for collective accommodation of internally displaced persons and their residents. Each set contains a blanket, pillow, bed linen and a towel. These kits are transferred to the personal property of citizens in order to improve the conditions of stay in temporary shelters and replenish their lost property.

In total, since February 2022, The Coca-Cola Company, Coca-Cola HBC and The Coca-Cola Foundation have contributed more than $20 million. USD U.S. for humanitarian assistance and support of the company's employees working in Ukraine.

"In winter, Coca-Cola brought to Ukraine 70,<> food packages for residents of affected communities and internally displaced persons, and now The Coca-Cola Foundation is strengthening facilities that receive internally displaced persons - modular towns, dormitories, hospitals, boarding schools, outpatient clinics and others, providing them with blankets, pillows, bed linen and generators. Also, electric generators will go to communities in different parts of Ukraine. This will make communities less vulnerable and more secure, more resilient to challenges," says Andriy Bublik, Director of Corporate Affairs and Sustainability at Coca-Cola HBC for Ukraine, Armenia and Moldova.

The Coca-Cola System has also committed itself to restoring the destroyed kindergarten in the village of Bohdanivka, Velykodymerska amalgamated territorial community.
