The leader of Russia's aggressor country, Putin, lies even to his allies. As an example, his conversation with Chinese President Xi Jinping, whom Putin assured that he would not place nuclear weapons outside his country.

This was stated in an interview with Chosun by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

"Russia lies even to those countries that were somewhat close to it, even to those countries that considered Russia an honest ally. Russia's rhetoric about nuclear weapons is just politics. Unsuccessful policy, wrong policy," Volodymyr Zelenskyy stressed.

He also added that in the context of "the peace plan developed by China, Ukraine has clearly formulated that the main one is the formula of peace developed by our state.

"If and only if China declares a clear and firm position that Russian troops should be withdrawn from all territories of Ukraine, I think it can be useful to us," the president concluded.

Recall that Russia has classified a significant part of its military spending, which allegedly put pressure on the Russian budget.
