British Foreign Minister James Cleverley said that the Ukrainian military can use force beyond its borders in order to protect the country from invaders.

It informs Sky News.

Cleverly commented on the drone attack on Moscow and whether Ukraine has the right to attack Russian territory.

"Of course, it (Ukraine – ed.) has the legal right to do so within its borders, but it also has the right to use force beyond its borders to undermine Russia's ability to direct force to the very Ukraine," the minister said.

He noted that military targets even outside the country are part of Ukraine's self-defense, so it has every right to strike back if necessary.

We will remind, earlier it was reported that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz condemned the latest Russian attacks on Ukraine in a telephone conversation with President Volodymyr Zelensky on May 30.

In addition, we previously reported that Russian propagandist Vladimir Solovyov reacted hysterically to the drone attack on Moscow.
