NATO will deploy another 700 troops to Kosovo, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said on Monday, a day after 30 NATO troops and 52 protesters were injured in clashes.

"We have decided to deploy another 700 troops from the operational reserve forces for the Western Balkans and put an additional battalion of reserve forces on high alert so that they too can be deployed if necessary," Stoltenberg told a news conference in Oslo.
