The opening of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Israel this year will certainly elevate ties to a high level, while creating more opportunities for closer interaction.

The EPA reports that President Ilham Əliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan said this during a press release with Isaac Herzog, the president of the State of Israel.

The head of state noted that the trade cycle between Azerbaijan and Israel is more than $1.7 billion, a remarkable amount.

'But I think we're going to have to shore up our trading cycle in the coming years. "I hope that as a result of our planned and joint projects, we will have a more balanced trade cycle and it will not just depend on the energy factor, despite Azerbaijan continuing to be a reliable crude oil supplier for Israel for years and demonstrating close cooperation in this energy field," President Ilham Əliyev stressed.
