A man stole a wallet from a disadvantaged young man while allegedly helping him, and later attacked the people who posted the footage of the theft.

The incident happened in front of a non-stop shop near Nadezhda metro station. After the store owner sees what happened on the camera footage, he holds the thieves to account, after which they attack him.

According to the owner, the cameras show that the incident occurred at 21:21 p.m.

"The boy in question was crying and three men had surrounded him. They treated to him. The boy had a broken leg and crutches, he was in crisis. I went to see how to help him, I questioned him. He told me that his wallet had been stolen, it had 200 leva in banknotes and 200 in food vouchers. He said he didn't want to go to the police because he was drunk. He told me that the 'third round' of the treat was his, he took out his wallet to buy a drink, and then he didn't remember seeing him."

According to him, when they heard that there was talk of a camera and police, the boys began to become aggressive.

"His friend got into a fight on me. I told him I didn't want to deal with drunks, and he went crazy and ran into a fight. He hit the boy who was between me and him, he fell and hit his head hard. The next day I asked the store across the street to see the cameras, where you can see it better. Later I found out that a signal had already been filed with the police," the man told Nova TV.
