In Kyiv, from June 1, trolleybus route No. 5-D will run under No. 4 under the name "Svobody Avenue – metro station "Ploshcha Ukrainskiy Heroes" (former name – "Leo Tolstoy Square").

This was reported by the Department of Transport Infrastructure of the Kyiv City State Administration.

The numbering change occurs due to the transfer of the trolleybus route from temporary mode of operation to a permanent basis, as well as for the convenience of orientation of passengers.

"There will be no changes in the trolleybus route scheme. Trolleybuses will run as before: prosp. Svobody (from Georgiya Gongadze avenue) – prosp. Vasylia Poryka – prosp. Pravdy – vul. Ivana Vyhovskoho – vul. Danylo Shcherbakivskoho – prosp. Beresteyskyi – Taras Shevchenko Boulevard – vul. Velyka Vasylkivska – vul. Hetman Pavlo Skoropadsky – vul. Vladimirskaya", – stated in the message.

We will remind, on one of the streets in the center of Kiev for four months restricted traffic.
