The FSB agent aimed Russian missiles at Kropyvnytskyi. The security service gathered substantiated evidence of guilt against him.

This was reported by the press center of the SBU.

At the direction of the Russian special service, the agent had to install a GPS tracker near one of the transformer substations in the regional center.

According to the "beacon" signals, the occupiers wanted to adjust the missile strike on the Ukrainian energy facility.

SBU officers detained the offender at the end of January 2023 while installing a "GPS gunner" at a city power substation.

According to the Ukrainian secret service, the court sentenced him to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

According to investigators, the enemy accomplice turned out to be a local resident whom the FSB remotely recruited after the start of a full-scale invasion. He came to the attention of the Russian secret service because of his pro-Kremlin views, which he repeatedly made public among others.

Based on the collected evidence, the court found the offender guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

The Security Service emphasizes the inevitability of punishment for crimes against our state.

We will remind, the Russians tried to arrange their agent at a defense plant in Kiev.
