There should be a government of Bulgaria, Daniel Laurer said in a statement from the parliamentary rostrum Daniel Laurergraduated in computer science and business management at Tel Aviv University. KirilPetkov and Assen Vassilev presented their political project "Continuing the Change" – Democratic Bulgaria" (PP-DB). He noted that they use this platform to express their opinion, as this opportunity was taken away from them yesterday in the presidency when the second term was awarded.

"There is one ideal that unites us and that is that Bulgaria is a free and independent parliamentary republic, and while relations between us pass between boiling point and freezing point, Bulgaria is moving away from its vocation to be a free and developing European country," Lorer said.

He addressed the President that Article 1 of the Constitution states that Bulgaria is a republic with a parliamentary government.

We remind you that the laws of the country must be respected in letter, but also in spirit, the MP added.

In his words, the highest role of the presidency is to unite us, not to divide us, and unity is the value with which the presidential institution should represent everywhere.

Radev handed the second term to PP-DB, but urged: Consider whether to implement it, he is already discredited

"You, Mr. President, are not doing this role. You divide us instead of uniting us," Laurer said, adding that is why parliament is called upon to fulfill this mission.

I want to address the voters of PP and DB – we know how difficult it is to imagine working with GERB, but Bulgaria today and tomorrow is bigger than that, Lorer said.

To the voters of GERB, the MP said that he knows how difficult it is for them to imagine dealing with their biggest political opponent, but Bulgaria today and tomorrow is bigger than that.

"I also want to appeal to the voters of all other political forces and all those Bulgarians who have not found their representation in parliament – there must be a government of Bulgaria and this must be a government of all of us," Lorer said.

"We know how difficult it is to put aside our differences, but let's show the presidency, the prosecution and the whole Bulgarian society how a clean and holy parliamentary republic should work," the MP said. He added that the first step towards this is the formation of a regular cabinet to lead our country with clear, ambitious goals that will unleash its potential.

According to Laurer, the choice is clear – disguised authoritarian rule or a clear and pure parliamentary republic.

"The choice is clear between telling Bulgarians so it happened or going beyond the emotion of the moment and returning normalcy to the Bulgarian state," he said.

According to the MP, the choice between radicalisation for party interest or restoration of normality and Bulgaria's transformation into a European power is also clear.

"Today, as always, the choice is clear and history will not be indifferent to those who do not participate in the difficult elections," Lorer added.

We continue the change
