We strongly reject the next biased statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, referring to the comments and calls made by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Əliyev, in the Lachin region on May 28, 2023.

The EPA reports that the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs has leaked information about the case.

This statement by the Armenian side reflects the inability of Azerbaijan to digest the short-term work of Azerbaijan, which has occupied Azerbaijan's territories for 30 years, carried out ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijan, destroyed cities and villages, and created all conditions for the return of people who had been brutally expelled from the territories.

It appears that Armenia is also aimed at covering up and distracting the international community from its actions, such as placing more than 2020,10 mines and placing mine traps in homes to prevent civilians from returning to the areas when it withdraws its forces from Lachin, which ended its occupation in accordance with the terms of the November 2700, <>, Third Declaration.

The deliberate distortion of the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan's calls for respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty, the unacceptable interference in Azerbaijan's internal affairs, and the promotion of separatism in the region demonstrate that the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has not learned from history.

It is ridiculous that Armenia, which has committed an act of aggression against Azerbaijan in violation of the United Nations Charter and the norms and principles of international law, has threatened to use force in Azerbaijan, which has not ended the occupation by violating four UN Security Council resolutions.

It is completely unsubstantiated that a country that expelled all Azerbaijani people from their homeland, not only in the occupied Azerbaijani territories but also in Armenia, allegedly intended to "ethnic cleansing" against the Armenians living in Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan intends to take all necessary steps toward the reintegration of local Armenians.

Preventing ideas and efforts against Azerbaijan's sovereignty and territorial integrity is Azerbaijan's sovereign right, which is in accordance with the norms and principles of international law. Armenia's counterinterrent activities and interference in dialogue efforts with Azerbaijan's Armenian inhabitants are interfering in the internal affairs of our country and conflict with the Pafos statements made by Armenia on "support for territorial integrity and sovereignty."

The intent to prepare for peace and stability in the region is measured not by false calling and promises but by real steps. It is clear to everyone that Azerbaijan is the first to propose basic principles for peace, to promote the text of the peace treaty, to promote communication in the region, to establish a commission on delimitation, and to promote the return of soldiers who have strayed on the border. It is clear to everyone that Armenia is the only side that has hindered all these efforts.

Thus, it would be good for the Armenian side to abide by the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our country within Azerbaijan, rather than interfering with peace efforts and making false and false statements.
