New Delhi:New Delhi: The body of a 35-year-old woman was found in a pool of blood from a house in Majnu Ka Tila area under Civil Lines police station here, police said on Sunday. The deceased woman has been identified as 35-year-old Rani. The woman is a resident of Delhi's Safdarjung area. Police have registered a case of murder and started investigation. The police received a call from a woman named Sapna and informed about the incident at 7 am. Sapna told that there was a party at her house last night, in which a boy and two other women were present. Then there was some quarrel and then the woman was stabbed, due to which she died. The accused Sapna has confessed to her crime. The accused and the deceased woman worked at wedding parties under an event management company.
According to DCP North Delhi Sagar Kalsi, at 7 am, information was received that the body of 35-year-old Rani was lying on the roof of a house in Majnu Ka Tila area. When the police reached the spot, a 36-year-old woman named Sapna was standing near the body, who told that the body was of Rani. The body was bloodied. According to the police, Sapna and Rani live in a rented house in Majnu Ka Tila area. Rani works at a beauty parlour in Gurugram while Sapna worked as a waiter at weddings. Sapna is divorced and has a daughter.
Last night, Sapna, Rani and Manish Chhetri and another girl named Tenzin and 4 to 5 others had a party and drank alcohol. Meanwhile, Sapna stabbed Rani several times with a kitchen knife at around 1.4 am, after which Rani died on the spot. According to the police, Sapna was abusing Rani's father under the influence of alcohol, over which the two had a fight.
This is the second incident of murder in
Delhi in the last 24 hours. On Monday, a 24-year-old girl was stabbed to death more than 16 times and crushed to death with a stone by a youth in northwest Delhi's Shahbad Dairy area. Meanwhile, passersby did not make any attempt to stop the accused. Meanwhile, accused Sahil has confessed his crime in front of Delhi Police. Sahil says he has no regrets about what he did.
In the interrogation of Delhi Police, Sahil has said that he has no regrets for his crime. Sahil said that he was very angry at the time of the incident. The reason for this is that the girl had been ignoring him for many days. It is being told that the girl wanted to break up with Sahil. So he started distancing himself from Sahil, he could not tolerate this. Sahil had thrown the knife in Rithala area after killing the girl, police said. The police will collect evidence by taking Sahil on remand. After throwing the knife, Sahil took the bus and went to Bulandshahr. Sahil is giving a round answer to tying kalava and garland of Rudraksha.
