Sanjay Raut made a big comment about MLAs and MPs of the Shinde faction.

New Delhi:

Politics is heating up again in Maharashtra. The Uddhav faction (UTT) on Tuesday claimed that 22 MLAs and nine MPs of the Eknath Shinde faction may leave it very soon. The Uddhav faction says that these MLAs and MPs are being discriminated against while being in the Eknash Shinde faction.

An editorial in The Saamana, the mouthpiece of the Uddhav faction, said Shinde dubbed MPs and MLAs belonging to the group as "chickens" in support of the BJP and did not say when they would be evicted.

"There are now reports that 22 MLAs and nine MPs of the Shinde faction are being treated as step-mothers by the BJP. Because of this, these people are feeling suffocated while living there. In such a situation, he has made up his mind to leave that group. "Shiv Sena MPs who had earlier cheated Thackeray and joined hands with BJP are no longer feeling well with BJP and want a divorce from BJP.

The matter was raised by Shiv Sena MP Gajanan Kirtikar over the weekend. He had alleged that the BJP was treating his party as a step-motherly manner. Kirtikar had said on Friday that we are part of the NDA... So our work should be done accordingly and the (NDA) constituents should get (suitable) status. We feel that we are being treated as stepchildren.

His comments proved helpful to UTT. Sanjay Raut, one of the most senior UBT leaders and editor of Saamana, said the Shiv Sena has already distanced itself from the BJP, which has tried to eliminate it.

Sanjay Raut further said that the BJP is like a crocodile or a dragon. Whoever goes with them, they swallow it. Now these Shiv Sena MPs and MLAs who have rebelled against the leadership will feel that Uddhav Thackeray's stand of distancing himself from this crocodile was right.
