Vande Bharat Express New Jalpaiguri to Guwahati,

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will flag off the first Vande Bharat Express for the North-East Vande Bharat Express. With the introduction of this train, the state-of-the-art Vande Bharat Express will provide a means to the people of the region to travel with speed and comfort and will also boost tourism in the region. Railways claim that this train connecting Guwahati to New Jalpaiguri will help in saving about an hour in travel time compared to the fastest train currently running connecting the two places. The Vande Bharat Express train timings will cover the distance in 5 hours 30 minutes, while the current fastest train takes 6 hours 30 minutes to cover the same journey.

According to the
IRCTC website, this Vande Bharat Express (Vande Bharat Express 22227) train will run from 6.10 am to reach Guwahati. It will take passengers to Guwahati at 11.40 am. According to the site, it will run on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. According to IRCTC, the chair car fare will be Rs 1075. The executive car fare is Rs 2025. Both involve catering.

On its return journey, the Vande Bharat Express train (Vande Bharat Express 22228) will depart at 4.30 pm and reach at 10 pm. According to the IRCTC site, the fare is Rs 1225,2205 per person for the chair car and Rs <>,<> for the executive car. This train will run on all days except Tuesday. Catering facility will also be provided for both trains in this train.
