Nearly 56,000 fourth graders took part in a national external assessment in Bulgarian language and literature.

The test included dictation, elective response tasks, and reading comprehension text.

The fourth-graders had 60 minutes to take up the exam challenge. At 119 SU the test started at exactly 10 am and proceeded normally. The Deputy Director of the school Simeon Angelov stressed that the good organization has contributed to the smooth conduct of the assessment.

According to him, the students were not hampered by the material because of their good preparation. His words were confirmed by the students themselves.

"The questions were easy, so I think I'll have max points on the closed-answer questions, but I don't know about the other questions," one of the students said.

Others noted that they had prepared well for the exam both at home and at school. The results of HBO will become clear no later than June 9.
