On May 29, the deputy director of the International Relations Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (CKP) met with Minister Lew Jinchao on a trip to the People's Republic of China (CXR), headed by Tahir Budapest, deputy director of the New Azerbaijani Party (YAP).

According to a report from YAP to the EPA, Lew Jinçao, who greeted the delegation, stressed the satisfaction of the development dynamics of multilateral relations between China and Azerbaijan and said it was important to continue the successful cooperation. Leu Jinchao, a friend of Azerbaijan's CXR and the largest trading partner in the Southern Caucasus, noted that there is broad potential for deepening cooperation between the two countries. He said that china's "One Belt, One Road" project serves to promote bilateral relations with Azerbaijan, as well as to promote extensive cooperation, intelligence, and stability in Austria.

The director of the Department of International Relations of the CKP Central Committee said that there are close contacts between the Chinese Communist Party and the New Azerbaijani Party, noting that mutual trips are of great importance in terms of exchange of experience and expanding cooperation. He said that the CKP was interested in expanding relations with the New Azerbaijani Party and expressed confidence that the YAP delegation's trip would further strengthen friendships between the ruling parties.

Tahir Budapest, deputy director of the YAP Council, thanked for the invitation and hospitality, said that relations between azerbaijan and the People's Republic of China have been dynamic and that cooperation in industry, agriculture, trade, tourism, transportation-logistics, and other fields has been multifaceted and mutually beneficial. Recalling the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Azerbaijan and China last year, Tahir Budapest noted that our countries have made significant progress in developing relations within the framework of bilateral and international platforms during this time: "President, as Mr. Ilham Əliyev of the New Azerbaijani Party, emphasized, Azerbaijan and China have successfully cooperated in many ways."

Speaking about the new realities that emerged after the 44-day Civil War that ended with Azerbaijan's magnificent victory, the deputy director of the YAP Sadr said that during the postwar period, our country's initiatives served peace, stability, and security in the region. Noting that Azerbaijan is one of the first countries to support China's "One Belt, One Road" project, Tahir Budapest described the regional and international importance of the Zanzibar Wall. He said that the lobby would strengthen Azerbaijan's potential as a transit country, and that a significant increase in international cargo in the East-West through this geostrategic corridor would enable the development of a new multilateral cooperation platform in the region, which Azerbaijan and China are also actively involved in.

The deputy director of the YAP Council stressed that important steps have been taken to deepen cooperation between the two ruling parties in accordance with the political will of Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ilham Əliyev and CXR Sadri Xi Jinping. Tahir Budapest, who emphasized the great satisfaction of being from the New Azerbaijani Party as an example of friendship and cooperation after the pandemic, said that mutual trips are important for the development of inter-party relations: "The active dialogue of the New Azerbaijani Party and the Chinese Communist Party is to strengthen friendships between our peoples, deepen our multilateral cooperation, and contributes significantly to the development of Azerbaijan-China relations as a whole."

Hikmat Mohammadov, a member of the YAP Governing Body, a member of the National Assembly's Working Group on Azerbaijani-Chinese Parliamentary Relations, chairman of the party's Inspection Commission, deputy of the National Assembly, Bhagiyar Islamov, chairman of the YAP Youth Union, Nurlan Galanderov, director of the Department of Information Technology and Public Relations of the party's Central Parliament, and Taleh Hasanzadeh, senior adviser to the Department of International Relations and Humanitarian Affairs of the Central Parliament a number of issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
