On the night of May 29, the Air Defense Forces shot down two missiles and a drone over the Poltava region. No damage was recorded in the region.

This was announced by the head of the Poltava regional administration Dmytro Lunin.

"The night was restless in the Poltava region. The sounds that could be heard at night were the work of air defense. In the sky over our region, air defense shot down two missiles and UAVs. As of this morning, there were no reports of destruction," the post reads.

Night attack on Ukraine May 29

On the night of May 29, the occupiers fired up to 40 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles from nine Tu-95MS strategic aviation aircraft from the Caspian Sea area. Air defense forces destroyed 37 enemy targets.

According to the CMVA, during the air attack on the capital, more than 40 air targets were detected and destroyed. As a result of the enemy attack, Holosiivskyi, Podilskyi and Svyatoshinsky districts of Kyiv were damaged.

In Brovary, Kyiv region, debris from downed missiles damaged windows in residential buildings.

As a result of hitting the port infrastructure of Odesa, a fire broke out. It was promptly eliminated. Information on the scale of destruction is being specified.

In Lviv region, rocket debris fell on a wooden outbuilding – a fire occurred. A tractor that was nearby also burned down.
