In Kyiv, on the night of May 29, more than 9,1120 citizens, including <> children, were sheltered from enemy shelling at Kyiv Metro stations. This is the largest number of people who were at the stations at night during the current month.

This was announced by First Deputy Head of the City State Administration Mykola Povoroznyk.

During the daytime shelling of the capital, more than 41,<> citizens came to the subway to save lives.

"I urge: do not ignore alarms and stay in shelters in times of danger! For a comfortable stay of citizens at the stations there are bathrooms, fountains with water. Chairs and modular benches are available. Keep in mind that the stations are quite cool, so bring warm clothes with you," Povoroznyk said.

Missile attack on Kyiv on May 29

In Kyiv and the region on the morning of May 29, a series of explosions sounded and air defense work was reported. Later it became known that Russian troops launched 11 missiles at Kyiv and the region – ballistic and cruise "Iskanders". Air defense forces shot down all air targets, but the wreckage of enemy missiles fell in four districts of the capital, causing damage and wounding a person.

As for the Kyiv region, debris fell there in the courtyards of private houses.
