In Kyiv, after 11:00, an air alarm was announced. Immediately after that, a series of powerful explosions sounded in the city. The Russians could have used 9M723 Iskander ballistic missile systems or S-300/S-400 Triumph group firing for strikes.

This was told by the military-political observer of the Information Resistance group Oleksandr Kovalenko.

"By the way, yesterday the S-400 arrived in Belarus," he said.

In Kyiv and some regions, an air raid alarm sounded. Immediately after that, a series of powerful explosions sounded in the capital. According to eyewitnesses, at least 9 strong explosions were heard in one of the areas. Air defense operates in the city, the CMVA stressed.

Mayor Vitali Klitschko said the attack was inthe center of Kyiv. All relevant services went to the scene.

In the Obolonskyi district of Kyiv, rocket debris fell on the roadway and caught fire.

Rescuers are working at the scene.
