Since autumn, the occupiers have changed the tactics of shelling Ukraine several times – attacked on Mondays, then massively attacked every two weeks. Now the Russians have begun a combined tactic using drones at night and missiles in the morning. According to experts, the enemy is constantly experimenting, trying to break through Ukrainian air defense. But now, these days, the Russians have a key task in which cities far from the front line play an important role.

Military expert Roman Svitan told about the enemy's new plan in a comment for TSN.ua.

"How long this or that tactic of the enemy will last depends on the tasks he sets for himself. Tactics change to fit tasks, says Dawn. - Today, the occupiers had a task to calculate the location of the Patriot. At night, they attacked with drones and missiles. After that, the data was entered into on-board computers and 11 Iskanders were released in the afternoon.

According to Svitan, the target was most likely our launchers and locators.

"The fact that the missiles were destroyed is our guys well done. The second common task of the enemy is to force our air defense to use the maximum amount of anti-missile ammunition, the third task is to prevent the decision to move our air defense systems to the front line. That is, the Russians decided to drive through the territory of Ukraine, which is remote from the front line, so that the air defense remains in these territories where it is located."

When asked what to expect from a military point of view, Svitan says: "Definitely, they will ensure that air defense systems are not located on the front line. How long the offensive lasts – so much they will keep in suspense. If they stop fighting, our leadership will immediately decide to move free air defense systems to the front line to cover our troops. In other words, there is asymmetric pressure on the air defense system."

Kyiv's missile attack on May 29

Russia twice a day tried to strike at Kyiv. The interval between the first and second attacks was 6 hours. During the night attack, Holosiivskyi, Podilskyi and Sviatoshynskyi districts of Kyiv were damaged. Thus, in Podilskyi, a fragment of an enemy object fell on the roof of a one-story private house, and in the Sviatoshynskyi district, rescuers liquidated the fire.

And at 11 o'clock, the Russians struck again at the capital. The CMVA reported that six rocket debris fell in four districts of the capital.

  • in Obolonsky – near the gas station, on the road and in the green zone.
  • in Desnyansky – on the territory of one of the parks.
  • in Dniprovskyi – on the road surface in different places.
