The Russian occupiers led by the occupation "authorities" began to leave the temporarily occupied Kherson region. This will take some time.
This was announced by spokesperson of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Gumeniuk on air of a telethon.
"Gradually, they try to retreat from there under various pretexts, using family characteristics, intrafamily reasons, accompanying loved ones, accompanying children. They are trying to leave and take out documents," she said.
According to her, the occupiers do this in "short runs" and try to find a safer place for themselves, and most importantly, they try to keep it secret, but the Ukrainian side knows about all the plans of the enemy and they cannot hide.
Earlier it became known that in Oleshky in the Kherson region, the number of Russian occupiers and their equipment decreased. The invaders evacuated from the temporarily captured Oleshok all collaborators, representatives of the occupation "administration", as well as police officers who defected to the enemy.
Colonel of the SBU reserve, military expert Mykhailo Prytula noted that the occupiers are preparing to surrender territories on the left bank of the Kherson region - due to poor logistics, it is difficult for the invaders to hold the left bank of the Kherson region.
Military expert Oleg Katkov believes that the occupiers are afraid of meeting with the Defense Forces in the southern direction, so they form multi-echelon defense lines stretching for hundreds of kilometers, with the defense of key nodes.
