The head of the State Duma Committee on Regional Policy, a "native" Russian with the surname Didenko, said that "there should be no Ukrainian language."

"This is an important factional position. There should be neither this state (Ukraine - ed.), nor the language. There should be no Ukrainian language, it is the language of the enemy, it cannot be studied or respected in every possible way, it should not exist in principle, there should be no signs in this terrible language, no materials, nothing. They want to be friends with us, let them speak Russian," Oleksiy Didenko said.

According to Mancourt, only military translators can learn Ukrainian.

Didenko made his statement at a conference on the "harmonization of the regulatory framework" of the occupied territories in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, which is held in the State Duma.

In response, other members of the conference accused him of "inciting ethnic hatred."

The hater of the Ukrainian language is from Cherkasy region

It should be noted that Oleksiy Didenko is a native of Ukraine. He was born in the village of Pochapyntsi in the Cherkasy region. After his birth, the family moved to Tomsk, where at that time the father of the future traitor worked and lived.
