After outgoing Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan won the second round of Turkey's presidential election, his supporters took to the streets of Sarajevo, Tanjug reported.

A column of cars passed through the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and passengers waved Turkish flags and euphorically celebrated with sirens and Turkish music. After the cars passed through the city, the celebration continued at the Bashcharshiya, Klicks portal reported.

Turkish citizens residing in Bosnia and Herzegovina also took part in the elections. Congratulations to Erdogan on the occasion of the election victory were sent by Zeljka Cvijanovic, Presidency member Zeljko Komsic, Party of Democratic Action leader Bakir Izetbegovic and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik sent congratulations on the occasion of the election victory.
