"The Man of the People Won" (Sabah newspaper), "Victory is again Erdogan's" (Hurriyet), "Another five years Erdogan" (Karar newspaper), writes the Turkish press this morning on the occasion of the election victory of outgoing President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who won 52.16 percent of the vote in the presidential runoff on Tuesday against 47.84 percent for his opposition rival Kemal Kilicdaroglu.

With a difference of 2.3 million votes, the people once again entrusted Erdogan with the task of leading Turkey to the second century (of the republic). The newspaper said it was the president's second election victory in two weeks, referring to the first round of presidential elections on May 14, when a vote for a parliament took place in which Erdogan's Justice and Development Party (AKP) emerged victorious. According to the newspaper, the incumbent president has again received a vote of confidence with a "clear victory".

This is the 17th election victory for President Erdogan, who has won every election and referendum in the country since his rise to power. A slight drop in the run-off was noted in the voter turnout, which in the first round was 86.98, and yesterday it was reported at 84.29%, the newspaper writes.

"Elections of the Century" calls the Yeni Shafak vote, noting that Erdogan was granted powers for another five years by the people with support of 52.16 percent, or a total of 27.5 million votes (compared to 25.3 million votes for his rival Kilicdaroglu). At the same time, the pro-government newspaper claims that the opposition candidate lost the elections, although he appeared in them "with the support of Western countries and FETÖ and the PKK (organizations considered terrorist by Ankara).

The outgoing president has won victory in the Black Sea region, central Anatolia, eastern Anatolia, southeastern Anatolia and Marmara.

Turkkun focused on Erdogan's victory in areas hit by the devastating earthquakes on February 6. According to the publication, he leads in the results of all 11 districts that suffered the worst from the two earthquakes measuring 7.7 and 7.6 on the Richter scale on February 6, including in Hatay County, where Kılıçdaroğlu won in the first round.

The Turkish president received congratulations from world leaders, including his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin, European Commission President Charles Michel, French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, US President Joe Biden, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi and Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog.

59 percent of "workers" prefer Erdogan, writes the Aksam newspaper. According to the still inconclusive results, 59.57 percent of the votes of Turkish voters abroad are for Erdogan and 40.43 percent for Kilicdaroglu.

At the same time, the opposition press puts Erdogan's victory in the context of economic problems, high prices and other difficulties the country faces under his rule.

"Elected for the last time," the Yenicag newspaper wrote in a headline, noting that it was the last time Erdogan could run for presidential elections by law, as it would be his second term in office since Turkey introduced the presidential system of government.

"What I told you, we will be together not until (this) Sunday, but until the grave. That love doesn't end here, does it?" Erdogan told supporters after the election results were announced. "We have shown that Turkey cares for us and we care about Turkey," he added, quoted by Yenicag.

Issues such as a poor economy, allegations of billions of dollars in corruption, high inflation and even misery after the earthquakes that razed Turkey's 11 counties had not hampered Erdogan on his path to power. "The fate of the elections determined the migrants made Turkish citizens and the votes from abroad," the newspaper said.

"Nevertheless, Erdogan has come out of the ballot box again," Sozcu said. Although nearly half of voters have said "no" to the current government, this power will continue for another five years.

Sozcu congratulated the people on the election results and wished that over the next five years the government will be able to achieve solutions to issues such as low pensions and minimum wages, high inflation and unemployment, the depreciation of the Turkish lira, problems with democracy, secular order, freedoms, refugees, violence against women, justice, corruption and bans.

Cumhuriyet said Erdogan had lost in major cities and cited opposition candidate Kilicdaroglu as urging his 25 million voters to stay proudly on their feet.

"We are here, our march continues," Kilicdaroglu said. "We will continue to be the vanguard of the fight for democracy," Erdogan said in a statement.
