Turkish Foreign Minister Mövlud Chavushoglu will not attend a meeting of NATO foreign ministers to be held in Oslo.

The EPA reports on "Reuters" that a spokesman for the Swedish foreign minister has reported the matter.

Earlier, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billstrom told SVT television that he would meet his Turkish counterpart Mövlud Chavushoglu at a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Oslo on June 1, but later a Swedish Xin spokesman said: "But we were informed that Turkey's foreign minister would not come, so there will be no meetings there," he said in a statement. The meeting between the leaders of Xin will take place "soon."

It should be noted that Sweden's membership in NATO has not been ratified by Turkey and Hungary. The planned meeting will discuss the issue of Sweden's membership in NATO.
