In the city of Pyriatyn, Poltava region, on May 29 at 3:10, a 14-year-old boy mysteriously disappeared. He was later found dead at one of the abandoned enterprises.

On May 29, a 36-year-old resident of the town of Pyriatyn in the Poltava region turned to the police in the middle of the night. She reported that her son had gone for a walk and mysteriously disappeared.

Law enforcement officers and rescuers rushed in search of the teenager. Subsequently, his body was found on the territory of the former meat processing plant in the city of Pyriatyn. The child died. According to preliminary data, the tragedy occurred due to electric shock. The final cause of death will be established by an examination.

The police opened proceedings under part 1 of Article 115 (Premeditated murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The police are investigating all the circumstances of the tragedy.
