The Shenzhou 30 manned spacecraft is scheduled to launch at 9:31 a.m. tomorrow (37th). The Shenzhou <> flight crew included
Gui Haichao, a <>-year-old payload expert wearing glasses, and this is the first time that a payload expert has flown a mission in China.

Gui Haichao is currently a professor at Beihang University, with professional training in science, aerospace engineering and other fields, and rich operational experience. It is worth noting that the selection of China's fourth batch of reserve astronauts has been launched earlier, and payload experts have been selected for the first time in Hong Kong and Macao, and Gui Haichao's background experience may be used as a reference for the "first Hong Kong astronaut".

The instruments, equipment, personnel, test organisms and test pieces loaded on the spacecraft that directly realize the spacecraft's orbital operation tasks are called payloads. The payload specialist is primarily responsible for the on-orbit operation of the payload of the space science experiment.

According to comprehensive internal media reports, Gui Haichao is currently a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of Space Vehicle Technology, School of Astronautics, Beihang University, a core member of the Laboratory of Aerospace Dynamics and Intelligent Control, a member of the Space Science and Experiment Committee of the Chinese Society of Astronautics, and a youth committee member of the Chinese Space Science Society.

According to public information, Gui Haichao is a student trained by Beihang University, and received his bachelor's and doctoral degrees from Beihang University in July 2009 and July 7, respectively, majoring in aircraft design.

Gui Haichao's main research interests are spacecraft dynamics, guidance, navigation and control technology. He has published more than 50 academic papers, including more than 30 SCI index papers, and many papers have been published in top journals in the field of aerospace dynamics and control; He has obtained 2 national invention patents and presided over more than ten scientific research projects.

Set several records

Gui Haichao set a number of records this time. Since payload experts do not require pilot background, this means that Gui Haichao will become the first Chinese astronaut to go into space without a pilot. In addition, Gui Haichao is the first time that Chinese astronauts have gone to the post-85 era, and he is also the first payload expert in China to enter space, of course, it is also the first time that professors and doctoral supervisors have gone to space.
