New Delhi:

More than seven days have passed since the Siddaramaiah government was sworn in in Karnataka. The general public had hoped that the promises made to them would be fulfilled immediately as soon as the new government was formed. But so far the Congress has not fulfilled the important promises made in the manifesto. Among these promises are free electricity up to 200 units and free bus rides for women in the state. The impact of this delay on the part of the government is now visible on the general public. The general public is reminding the new government of the promises made in the manifesto after it came to power. At the same time, he is hoping that he will fulfill his promises as soon as possible.

"The general public is refusing to pay the bill"

In a video from Karnataka on Monday, a woman is seen refusing to take a ticket in the bus, saying that the new government had promised that we would not have to pay the fare. In another video, some people are seen refusing to pay bills to employees from the electricity department, saying that we were told at the time of elections that we will not take bills up to 200 units as soon as we come to power. On this, the electricity employees are telling them that we have not received any order from the government yet. So now you have to pay the bill. But the people present there still do not agree to pay the bill.

THE BJP also entered the fray.

The BJP, which is sitting in the opposition, seems to be making an issue of the Congress not fulfilling the promises made in the manifesto even after seven days of coming to power. "You must remember what Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar promised you during the elections. He promised you whether you go to your in-laws' house or your maternal uncle or anywhere else in the state. You will not be charged a ticket in the bus.

Siddaramaiah government in action

However, upset by this chaos in the state, CM Siddaramaiah appeared to be making a roadmap to fulfill these promises as soon as possible. The Congress has promised 200 units of free electricity, Rs 2000,3000 per month to the female head of the family, Rs 10,10 per month to unemployed youth and 50-<> kg of free food grains to poor families. Explain that the government will have to bear a burden of Rs <>,<> crore every year on free rewari. This is a huge amount, so as the delay is getting delayed, doubts about the government's intentions are increasing.
