During the attack on the Ukraine on May 28, two Iranian drones flew into the territory of the Rivne region, but were shot down by air defense forces.

This was announced by the chairman of the Rivne regional administration Vitaliy Koval.

"Friends, this night two enemy 'shaheds' were shot down in the sky of Rivne region. I thank the air defense forces for reliable protection. I urge everyone: do not ignore the air alarm. Take care of yourself and your loved ones," his post read.

The official recalled that a total of 52 out of 54 UAVs had been destroyed in Ukraine that night.

Recall that on the night of May 28, Iranian kamikaze drones attacked Ukraine. Russia fired enemy targets from the north and south. The main goal was Kyiv. Air defense forces and means in the airspace of Kyiv destroyed more than 40 Russian drones. However, debris from the drones fell in several areas and damaged some facilities.
