On the night of May 28, the enemy attacked Ukraine Iranian Shahed-136/131 strike drones from the north and south.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In total, a record number of kamikaze drones were launched – 54. The Ukrainian military destroyed 52 enemy drones.

The enemy directed another night attack at military facilities and critical infrastructure of the state in the central regions, in particular in the Kyiv region.

"Here, in the area of responsibility of the Air Command "Center", most of the attack drones were destroyed. Also, forces and means of the Air Commands "South" and "West" of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were involved in repulsing the attack. The air defense of other components of the Defense Forces of Ukraine was also involved," the message says.

Recall that this night the capital was subjected to a massive attack by kamikaze drones, air defense forces worked in Kyiv and the region.

Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, commenting on the massive kamikaze drone attack on the Kyiv, expressed confidence that responsibility for the enemy would definitely come.

"They will lose, and we will win and punish," Yermak stressed.
