New Delhi: Wrestlers, who were protesting at Delhi's Jantar Mantar, were detained by the police on Sunday when they were on their way to protest in front of the new Parliament building. A photo is now going viral on social media about the police action. In this photo, the women wrestlers who have been detained by the police are seen smiling. Bajrang Punia, who is protesting with women wrestlers, has reacted to this photo going viral on social media. He said that the people of the "IT cell" are deliberately spreading these lies.

The IT cell is spreading this false picture. We make it clear that a complaint will be filed against whoever posts this fake picture. #WrestlersProtestpic.twitter.com/a0MngT1kUa

Our movement is not over.

After being released from police custody, we will start our satyagraha back at Jantar Mantar, there will

be no longer dictatorship in this country, but the satyagraha of women wrestlers. 🙏

There will be no dictatorship in this country now, but the satyagraha of women wrestlers.

Delhi Police has removed the tents and other belongings of wrestlers from Jantar Mantar on Sunday. Earlier, top Indian wrestlers, including Olympians and Commonwealth Games champions, were detained in an attempt to stage a protest outside the newly-built Parliament building.
