Tensions are growing between Saudi Arabia and Russia. It is noted that the aggressor country does not keep promises on oil production.

Writes about it The Wall Street Journal.

According to the publication, the problems are growing on the eve of the meeting of ministers of the Organization of countries-exporters of oil, where the main issue will be the production plan for the second half of the year.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia announced a voluntary reduction in its production by 1.65 million barrels per day in order to raise oil prices. Despite this, according to the WSJ, Russia did not keep its promise, and instead continued to pump large volumes of oil.

Russian Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev, who fell under sanctions, visited Saudi Arabia and met with his counterpart a few days after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky made his first visit to the Gulf country.
