Rbi Governor said, at present there is no proposal to bring new Rs 1000 notes.

New Delhi:

Recently, the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has announced the withdrawal of 1000 rupees note (2000 rupees note) under the clean note policy. After which all banks have been given 2000 months (till 2000 September) to exchange and deposit 2000 rupees note exchange. Under this, you can convert 4 notes of 30 i.e. up to 2000 rupees into other notes at a time. But ever since this decision of the Reserve Bank has come out, there has been speculation whether the RBI will once again issue a new (10 rupees note) note after the withdrawal of 20000 notes?

Will the government issue new Rs 1000,<> notes or not?

Now that the work of withdrawing 2000 rupees note has started gradually in the country, the discussion has intensified whether the government will issue new notes of 1000 rupees (Will the government re-issue 1000 notes?) or not. There is also a lot of talk on social media about this. Some people say that the central government will stop 2000 rupees note and bring a new 1000 rupee note. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das gave a big information about these reports.

Know what the RBI governor replied

In response to this question, the RBI Governor said, "At present there is no proposal to bring new Rs 1000 note. This is just a rumour. He said that there are enough notes of other denominations available in the market. At the same time, 2000 rupees notes will also remain legal tender for the time being. In such a situation, do not crowd the bank. You have 30 months time. People should not rush to exchange notes... Do it comfortably. This deadline has been given so that this decision should be taken seriously.
