President Ilham Əliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the construction of the village of Zallar in Kulgar on May 27.

The EPA reports that the head of our state was informed of the village's project.

It was noted that a total of 487 families were settled in the village of Zallar. Given the 20-year perspective for the settlement and the subsequent development, 137 acres [350 ha] of land have been allocated. In the first phase, plans are being made to build individual homes for the relocation of 350 families to the village. Of the 100 houses to be built, 167 will have two rooms, 57 will have three rooms, 26 will have four rooms and 360 will have five rooms. There will also be a local school for 120 pupils and a <>-seat children's garden.

It was reported that the village of Zallar would provide all kinds of conditions for the occupation and recreation of the population, and extensive maintenance and greening would be carried out. There will be "green energy" used in lighting homes and streets.

In accordance with the mandates of the head of our government, all work will be done at the highest level.

The Azerbaijani president then watched a video clip about the village's development plan.

Later, President Ilham Əliyev laid the foundation for the village of Zallar.
