In Indore, the accused beat up the student for walking with a non-Muslim student.

Indore: Two medical students were attacked in Tukoganj police station area of Indore at night, after the video of the incident went viral (video went viral), the police have shown strictness and arrested two accused and started investigating the case. Bhavesh and his friends were returning home with food in Tukoganj police station area of Indore, when the accused stopped their scooter near Regal intersection, some people slapped Bhavesh and started advising the student in the name of religion. Because the student was a non-Hindu.

The ruckus escalated when the accused started saying why she was going with a man who is not from the Muslim community. In the viral video, the students can be seen chasing and stopping at Regal square, where the mob can be seen reprimanding the girl saying that she is defaming her religion and bringing a bad name to her parents.

The accused and his accomplices surrounded the scooter and started beating Bhavesh. When some people intervened, one of the accused Shoaib's accomplices attacked Himanshu with a knife. His friend Yash Joshi was also attacked by the mob. Police have arrested six people, including Shoaib, under attempt to murder and other sections of the IPC in the case.

The video of the
assault on the student went viral on social media, after which Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan ordered strict action in the matter. After this, the police have registered a case against the accused under all sections including attempt to murder.
