The Security Service of Ukraine served notices of suspicion to four more accomplices of Russia: among them – a repeat offender who was sentenced to 10 years, ex-employees of the Ministry of Justice and the State Emergency Service.

This was reported by the press service of the SBU.

According to law enforcement officers, the repeat offender, who in 2021 was sentenced to 10 years in prison for crimes as part of the Russian-controlled Cossack National Guard of the Don Army, has been hiding from justice in the temporarily occupied part of the Luhansk region all this time, and since September 2022 he has headed the Lysychansk Fire and Rescue Squad created by the aggressor.

Two other defendants are a fitter of a provider firm and a former official of the local unit of the State Emergency Service. After capturing part of the region, they supported the Russian invaders and went with them to voluntary cooperation.

All three defendants were given notices of suspicion under Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration activities).

In addition, the criminal actions of a former employee of the Ministry of Justice, who fled to the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region in March last year, were documented.

There she was in constant contact with militants, justified Russian armed aggression and called on local residents to support the occupiers. Security Service investigators informed her of suspicion under Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as legitimate, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Currently, the attacker is wanted.

Recall that the new deputy head of the SBU got into a scandal because of his father's Russian passport.
