The Russian occupiers are going to commit a large-scale provocation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant with a strike on the territory of the nuclear power plant. However, at present, a nuclear provocation by the Russian Federation with the threat of radiation contamination is unlikely.

This opinion was expressed on the air of FREEDOM by military analyst Alexander Alesin.

According to him, the Kremlin would like to use many Ukrainian lands for political, economic and economic purposes. Therefore, radiation contamination of these territories is unprofitable for Putin.

"How will they attack, seize this territory if it is contaminated with radioactive elements that can be released during the explosion?.. Therefore, I think that given the plans of the Russian Federation, voiced by Dmitry Medvedev that they intend to move almost to the Dnieper and then almost to the western border, this situation is unlikely. And not because the Russian Federation shows special humanism, but because it is making far-reaching plans to seize a significant part of Ukrainian territory," the expert is convinced.

Alexander Alesin added that the accident planned by the Russians will lead to infection not only of Ukrainian lands, but also of the territory of Belarus, Russia and EU countries. Therefore, the world community will make every effort to prevent such plans of the Kremlin from being realized.

"If there is a catastrophe at one of the nuclear power plants, the wind rose is such that not only the adjacent lands will be infected, but also the southern territories of Belarus and the Russian Federation itself. Air flows will carry all these elements to Western Europe. I think that Western Europe and the world community will make every effort to prevent this option from being realized... The repetition of the Chernobyl scenario, contamination of a significant part of its own territories with radioactive elements is hardly included in the plans of the Russian Federation. This is an element of information warfare on both sides, I think. There is an information confrontation," Oleksandr Alesin believes.

To recap, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine warned that since May 26, Russians have been preparing large-scale provocations at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant. The terrorist army plans to shell a nuclear facility and declare a "leakage of radioactive substances."
