Pope Francis Francis(Latin: Franciscus PP.), until his election Jorge Mario Bergoglio, a Roman pope on March 13, resumed regular meetings on Tuesday, a day after canceling his planned engagements due to fever.

The Holy Father had a number of personal meetings, including guests from Georgetown University, who arrived for a joint conference with the team of the Jesuit-written edition.

Francis was later caught on video entering the studio of state broadcaster RAI for an interview recording and smiling lively at his well-wishers gathered outside.

The Vatican's confirmation of the 86-year-old's fever has raised concerns about Francis' health.

The last time the Holy Father had a serious fever in March, he was rushed to a hospital where he was diagnosed with "acute bronchitis." The pope received intravenous antibiotics and was discharged three days later.

The Vatican confirmed that the pope will lead tomorrow's mass at this year's Catholic Pentecost, and on Monday he will meet with Italian President Sergio Mattarella.
