Singer Jamala frankly spoke about the breakup of cooperation with producer Igor Tarnopolsky and the music company Enjoy! Records.

For several years now, the performer and producer have not been able to reach an understanding due to the termination of joint work. As Jamala shared, this topic is very difficult for her, because she did not want the termination of work with Tarnopolsky to be like that.

"This is a very difficult topic for me. I haven't talked about it and I don't want to talk about it. The way we broke up with Igor, this is not part of any ethical or professional framework. Oops. For so long to work together and for my part, I tried to focus only on good cases that we had - and they were," Jamala shared in an interview with Go West.

According to the singer, she and the ex-producer continue to resolve copyright issues, including in court.

"It continues. We have not put an end to this story. And in court as well," said Jamal.

It should be reminded that in 2021, Jamala and Tarnopolsky ceased cooperation. In August of the same year, all her clips released after 2018 suddenly disappeared from the YouTube channel. Then, according to the singer, she did not have access to an account on the streaming platform. Later, Tarnopolsky said that Jamala broke the contract by deception and manipulation.
