Iran has once again denied its assistance to the Russian Federation regarding the supply of Shahed strike drones. They say that Tehran is in favor of a political solution to end the war as soon as possible and is even ready to help in this.

This was reported with reference to Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanani by the Iranian state agency IRNA.

According to him, Volodymyr Zelensky's accusations against Tehran of supplying Russians with strike drones are groundless. According to such statements, Ukrainian leader allegedly "participates in the information war against the Iranian people in order to get as many weapons and financial assistance from the West as possible."

Kanani states that "political shows do not change the reality of the war in Ukraine, and Kyiv allegedly refused to negotiate with Iran to investigate the supply of drones.

"The refusal of the Ukrainian side to negotiate with Iran in order to study the accusations testifies to the groundlessness and political interests against the background of such allegations against the Islamic Republic of Iran," Kanani said.

Zelensky's address to the Iranians

On May 24, the President of Ukraine, in his evening video, addressed the Iranian people, whose authorities are sending Shahed kamikaze drones to Russians to terror the civilian Ukrainian population. According to the head of state, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have almost 900 of these downed drones. In total, about 1160 Shahed have already been used.

"The people of Iran! Russia hits everything indiscriminately. Artillery and mortars, missiles and drones – what it has and what Russia is given on your behalf. I am sure you should be on the other side of history - not with evil," Zelensky said.
