Seven regions that suffered large-scale destruction during the confrontation with the Russian occupiers will receive an additional subvention from the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the amount of UAH 588 million for post-war restoration.

This was stated by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

"We also help regions and communities, especially those affected by the war," he said.

Which regions will receive funding:

  • Dnipropetrovsk region
  • Donetsk
  • Zaporizhia
  • Kyivska
  • Odessa
  • Poltava
  • Kharkiv Oblast

It is noted that the funds allocated by the government will need to be implemented during 2023.

Where will the money be spent

According to the Cabinet of Ministers, state funds are allocated for the implementation of 26 projects within the framework of a joint emergency program with the European Investment Bank.

"These 26 projects are aimed at restoring hospitals, educational institutions, ASCs, public and cultural centers," Shmyhal explained.

Recall that almost 11 thousand Ukrainians have already applied for compensation under the state program "eRestore". It allows you to get up to UAH 200,<> for repairs of houses or apartments damaged by the occupiers. We are talking only about those dwellings that have suffered relatively minor damage. As for completely destroyed apartments, the state is preparing other programs that it will launch later.
